About our ProgramThe Baseliners program is the travel team branch of the Lower Loudoun Girls Softball League. Our programs bring talented young ladies from all over the Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. metropolitan area - the list of high school schedules for our players and alumni is pretty impressive.

We are looking for a pitcher to round out our pitching rotation. Maybe you want more innings or have decided that sitting out the fall wasn't exactly what you wanted - contact us at 18ubaselinersblue@gmail.com to arrange a tryout.
We are interested in adding another catcher who would like to call the game from behind the plate. Never called a game? - no worries. This is a great opportunity to learn and improve your catching skills in a supportive environment. Our coaching staff includes several young ladies who have played (and called/caught) at the elite travel, high school, and collegiate levels. Important UpdatesRaffle UnderwayThe tickets for the raffle are available for the players to start their fundraising efforts. The raffle prizes are a New Ipad (aka the iPad 3) with WiFi and a new iPod Touch (32 GB). Pretty cool prizes and there are 1,000 chances to win so the odds of winning are pretty good. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.
The drawing is November 4 at the East Coast College Showcase. All proceeds from the raffle (after covering the cost of the prizes and the tickets) are put towards the player's program costs for tournaments, uniforms, indoor training costs, and related expenses. And as anyone in travel/tournament ball knows, it is expensive to run a program. |

Some reminiscing about our 2011 16U team
Congratulations Baseliners 16U on a Successful Orlando Tournament
Way to go ladies - finishing in 5th place in the USSSA ESPNHS World Series 16U A tournament is quite an accomplishment. And a great ending to the 2011-2012 tournament season! As we move up to become the 18U Blue team, it will be one of many fond memories for the coaching staff and our entire 16U Baseliners family.
A big thank you to the players, parents, families, and fans that made our 2011-2012 season entertaining and enjoyable. We hope that you all find continued success and enjoyment, with us as the 18U Blue or another program, in all your future softball pursuits!

PONY Firecracker College Showcase Trophy
Congratulations on your Silver Bracket trophy for the PONY Firecracker College Showcase tournament. Nine games over three days is a lot of softball - but it was fun!
Third Place in USSSA VA StatesCongratulations to our ladies for finishing third in the USSSA VA Mad Hatters state tournament. It was very hot and we were playing short a few players so it was a great accomplishment to go 4-1. And congratulations to the Galaxy 16U for going on to win the tournament.
